Data protection guidelines

Collecting and processing HTTP protocol data

Use of personal data

Personal data transmitted by the user to WBM, in particular their name, postal address, telephone number, email address and information about their age or profession, is only collected, stored, processed and used insofar as it is required in order to establish, provide content for or modify the contractual relationship with WBM with respect to the usage of services, in order to enable the utilisation of these services, or where legal duties of disclosure apply.
In addition, WBM records non-personally identifiable user information, including IP addresses, profile information, cumulative user data and the type of browser used by the user. This data is exclusively used to manage the website, track usage, improve website services and – in the case of IP addresses – for security and monitoring purposes.
WBM does not transmit the user’s personal data to third parties unless the user has given express prior permission, e.g. for advertising campaigns, or a legal duty to disclose the data applies. Use of cookies

The information on website usage generated by the cookie (including your IP address, albeit shortened using the “_anonymizeIp()” method to ensure it can no longer be associated with a particular connection) is transmitted to a Google server in the USA and stored there. Google may also transmit this information to third parties if this is legally required or if Google has commissioned third parties to process this data. Correcting, updating and deleting data
